We first met Lisa & Rick Rios at an open house in our neighborhood where they blew us away with their obvious attention to every detail, from the beautiful way the seller's home was presented, their professionalism and extensive knowledge of every detail of the house, and the warmth we felt as potential buyers without any of the sales pitches or judgment. I immediately thought, this is the way I would want buyers to feel when I list my home one day and we kept in touch - in a refreshingly genuine way, none of the thoughtless spam listings or pressure to buy. It made me feel like they probably also have a wide network of happy clients that they could approach as appropriate if the listing was relevant, as they did from time to time. Lisa & Rick never once made us feel bad when a transaction didn't go through, which is so important to me, yet so rare in the industry. When we purchased our new home a long time after we first met, they gave us the space to make sure it felt right for us and feel zero buyer's remorse before escrow closed. I also thought it was a mark of authenticity that I was not given a hard time about using an inspector of my own choice, even though I mentioned he is super detailed (I actually suspect he may lose agent referrals on that basis which probably speaks to his integrity). As expected, the report gave us the opportunity for as much full disclosure within reason, but didn't have any effect on the final purchase price in this case and I was impressed that Lisa & Rick trusted us with that process. They are just genuinely kind and caring people who care deeply about what they do, and it shows time and time again.
